In-District Services

Educational technology, including but not limited to computers, has evolved to allow for significantly altered pedagogical design and teacher/student relationships. Developing a customized program for one's school and district needs to address the paradigm shift in enhanced curriculum design, as well as the changing role of educators in the learning process. This involves the critical issues of professional development, software selection, workstation deployment and classroom design, and assurance of the proper support staff. The MESPA Education and Technology Center offers this spectrum of services, including:

• An initial consultation to help determine where the school is in the planning and implementation process.
• A focused needs assessment that centers on curriculum integration goals
• Equipment selection recommendations
• Recommendation for a customized training program
• Ongoing evaluation of progress toward goals

Follow-up services, including software evaluation and recommendation, technical support, other workshops and discussion groups, maintenance and trouble shooting recommendations and services. These services are part of our In-District service. Please contact Doreen Stuart for more information.
